User Information - This section displays links to your personal profile information, such as Favorites, Saved Searches, Watch Lists, and Alerts. It also contains links to any documents you have recently viewed. Please note that this information is unavailable if you have not registered as a unique user. Additional information includes:
Account - The account that displays is your company's account name, number, and username. This is not your unique username.
User Information - If you have registered as a unique user, your username and email address is displayed. Your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address is also displayed and your session ID number, which is associated with the current session of IHS Standards Expert running on your computer.
User Preferences - The User Preferences section allows you to set your preferences for results lists, filters, and document displays. The User Preference options are:
Date and Result Count Display - The date and result count that displays in a results list can be reset to your preferences. The date formats are yyyy.mm.dd (system default), dd.mm.yyyy, and mm/dd/yyyy. (Examples: 2007.03.27, 27.03.2007, or 03/27/2007.) The number of results that display on your results list is set with the Results per page option. You can set the number to 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100.
Recently Viewed Documents - These are the documents that you have actually opened as PDF images and reviewed. You can set the maximum number up to 10 documents. As you view more documents, they replace the previously viewed 10 documents.
Title Language Display - You can use the language menu to select the language in which the PDF documents are displayed. Documents in results list are displayed by their highest ranking language. For example if you search for an AFNOR (Association Fran�aise de Normalisation) document, it is displayed in French because that is the highest ranked language in which it exists in the IHS Standards Expert database. To modify the language ranking, use the Move Language Up or Move Language Down button, but please note that not all documents have all possible languages applied to them and your results could be adversely affected.
Document
Language Display - Select this checkbox
(selected by default) if you do not want to display the language icon
for all documents in results lists that are in the IHS
Standards Expert database as documents written in English. Deselect this
checkbox to display the term for all documents if you want to know which
documents are English only.
Search Filters - The Most Recent Revision filter is selected by default. To deselect it as a default search filter, click in the check box. The My Subscription and Active Status are deselected by default. To select them as default search filters click the check boxes.
DOD/ANSI
Display - To enable the option to display
whether or not a document is DOD Adopted or ANSI Approved in the Document
Summary section on the Document Details tab, click in the check box. This
option is disabled by default.
Once you have set your User Preferences, click the Submit button.
Subscription Information - Click on the Subscription Information link to view standards collections that are in your subscription.
Purchase Tracking - Click on the Purchase Tracking link to view all of the documents you or your company have purchased.
