Alerts can be attached to documents on your Favorites list or Watch List. You must be registered as a unique user in order to use this feature. If you setup an alert for a document, when the document has been modified by the authoring agency or organization and is updated in the IHS Standards Expert database, the alert will display in the personal profile section of the IHS Standards Expert home page, on the Alerts tab, and in the Tools column of a results list (see examples below).
To set up your alert preferences, go to the Alerts tab and set your alert choices. You can set an alert notification for document updates within the last week or in the last 30, 60, or 90 days.
Once a document has updated, you can search for the document and add it to your Favorites in addition to the older version, or you can delete the older version and replace it with the updated version.
